An essential educational resource that gives participants an immersive learning experience of the process of colonization in a board game format. Through Truth and Consequence Cards, participants can explore iconic Canadian historical events in this immersive, thought-provoking, TRUTH-telling educational board game. As an Indigenous participant, your goal is to circle Turtle Island to collect four Eagle Feathers.

The Truth in Truth and Reconciliation for Elementary and Middle School (2025)

Through collaborative play, students explore the history and impact of colonization on Indigenous Peoples in Canada. Students work together to navigate challenges, reinforcing key lessons on interconnectedness, community and working together. The game includes a pre-colonial map that slowly changes throughout the gameplay to demonstrate the effects of colonization, and show the diversity of different Indigenous communities across Turtle Island.
The game offers three unique game-play scenarios tailored for Grades 3-4, Grades 5-6, and Grades 7-8.
